Objectioves:

Upon completion of this module, participants will be able to:

1. Regularly assess and apply approved disinfectants and disinfection techniques suitable for various instruments and surfaces.
2. Enhance the workflow for disinfection processes to increase efficiency while maintaining safety and effectiveness.
3. Achieve 100% adherence to disinfection  protocols, confirmed through mock regular audits and inspections  of  disinfection procedures.
4. Explain the importance of PPEs in HLD and in relation to health and safety of patients and CSSD personnel.
5. Identify the regulations, guidelines and standards governing disinfection process in CSSD.
6. Demonstrate the step-by-step process of disinfection in CSSD.
